POKE BO bistro
A piece of Hawaii in Ostrava
The POKE BO bistro focuses on a dish called poke and buddha bowl, which is often compared to unfolded sushi in a bowl. The dish consists of rice and a variety of vegetables and fruits. The heart of the dish is then raw marinated fish – tuna or salmon. Then shrimp, jerk chicken, or jerk beef. There is also a vegan poke with tofu or a hot soup, which changes every week and is mostly inspired by Asian cuisine. But what first catches customers’ attention are the “Ostrava” bao buns dumplings in an unusual black design. The well-known Atelier3M is behind the original interior of the bistro, which is also behind the interior of the Poruba Sbeerka or the Palouk restaurant. The dominant elements of the interior include a ceiling made of hanging paper bowls, into which the food is served, and a living green wall.
