MEDOO

In the embrace of the English park surrounding Šilheřovice Castle and the nearby forests—where, two hundred years ago, industrialist Salomon Rothschild used to host hunts—our bees now collect nectar. From it, we produce 100% fresh, natural, and healthy honey. To keep it close to home, my wife Kateřina Zámecká and I run Medoo in the former castle stables—a honey manufactory, bistro, and shop where everything smells of honey.

We honor the principles of social enterprise and give a chance to those for whom life hasn’t been so sweet. At Medoo, we employ people with disabilities and those who’ve been unemployed long-term, helping them reintegrate into everyday life.

Medoo honeys—and all our honey treats—are the result of honest work by us and our bees. We carefully develop every recipe to achieve the perfect balance of love, care, and honey. We use our own honey and ingredients from friendly local farmers. No flavorings, preservatives, or chemicals—ever.
